We work in partnership with NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau to offer all event organisers bringing delegates into North East England a 'Delegate Welcome Pack'.
For each delegate visiting The Sage Gateshead and staying overnight in the region, we will provide you with a free Welcome Pack, containing:
' Pocket Guide to NewcastleGateshead - providing details of the top attractions, restaurants, museums and bars, as well as maps and transport information
' Voucher Booklet - containing a range of special offers and discounts from shops, restaurants and attractions in and around NewcastleGateshead
' What's On Guide - presenting an up-to-date listing of events and festivals throughout the region
' Guide to North East England - a brief overview of this breathtaking region
' Competition Card - providing the chance for each delegate to win £200
' Postcard Pack - featuring the world-famous Angel of the North and housed within a high quality wallet, ready for inclusion in your conference bags or for you to send out to your delegates in advance, the Delegate Welcome Pack helps guests to make the most of their visit to NewcastleGateshead, and provides a truly warm NewcastleGateshead welcome.
NewcastleGateshead Conference Travel Card
We have teamed up with NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau and Tyne & Wear transport operator Nexus to develop the conference destination's first dedicated travel card.
Our Travel Card allows your delegates unlimited travel throughout the region, including the use of Tyne & Wear's extensive Metro light rail system and NewcastleGateshead's frequent QuayLink buses - which stop directly outside The Sage Gateshead.
If you're organising a conference in NewcastleGateshead, you can purchase the Conference Travel Card in bulk and then distribute to delegates in advance or on the day of your event. The minimum number of cards you can order is 50, and you can specify how many days you would like the card to be valid for, depending on the length of your event.
NewcastleGateshead is compact, accessible and easy to get around, and the Conference Travel Card now makes it really great value. For just £2 per person, per day, delegates can travel as often as they like, taking full advantage of our excellent transport links and allowing them to make the most of their time in NewcastleGateshead.

The Sage Gateshead is proud to offer conference organisers the opportunity to access team building workshops for delegates or staff groups. In demand across the world, most recently in Miami and Luxembourg, The Sage Gateshead's team can bring any conference alive and provide a unique way of integrating international delegates and visitors into your conference environment.
Florists
Organisers can have preferred access to our floral supplier who is comfortable and knowledgeable about what works best in these special spaces. Please ask our Conference and Events team for details.
Technical Services
The level of our technical support is extraordinary as members of our team are used to working with some of the biggest names in the music business on the 450 concerts per annum we present at The Sage Gateshead. The building is already highly specified but we do also work regularly with clients to suggest sub-contractors with whom we work regularly and who we are happy to recommend to you. Our goal is always to find a way to make your event special and to achieve what others may tell you is impossible!
