REFLECT Programme Manager

Steph has two degrees, in drama and theatre practice. She runs a community theatre company and has been a director, choreographer and performer. Her love of travelling took her to Italy where she started her working life as an English language teacher, working with people of all ages and levels.

Her background is in arts development, firstly as a volunteer, as board member for her local arts development agency and then at South Cambridgeshire District Council.  From 2004, Steph was Children and Young People's Officer at Arts Council England East. Working across the Eastern region, Steph developed a new strategy for children and young people including youth consultation, a young talent programme, unique partnerships with the youth justice sector and new approaches to working with schools and Children's Services. During her time at the Arts Council, Steph worked closely with the four Creative Partnerships areas to encourage local authorities to engage with creativity and creative learning.
