The Sage Gateshead is delighted to present our programme for young musicians aged 5 to 19. Whatever your musical preference or ability, the Young Musicians Programme has something for all budding young musicians.
As well as a number of outstanding Regional Youth Ensembles providing outstanding musical experiences there are opportunities to develop your music skills in the Open Studio or – if you really want to commit to your music training – the audition based Weekend School; the North East’s ‘Centre for Advanced Training’. For aspiring musicians aged 5-7 we have our Foundation Studio strings programme.
