Jambone

Currently a 24 piece big band, Jambone creates a fantastic sound comprising of three strong horn sections and a driving rhythm section, and offers thrilling live performers. It is currently led by Dave Hignett and Shaune Eland and has recorded a live CD with some of its favourite big band standards. Meticulous group work allows members to hone their playing as a section and create a tight big band sound. Members also have the opportunity to develop their improvisation skills, and work with guest artists like Sir John Dankworth, Bob Mintzer, Tim Garland, Marvin Stamm and the Jazz Jamaica Allstars.
