Quay Voices

The vibrant and exciting Quay Voices is The Sage Gateshead's prestigious regional youth choir comprising nearly forty singers. It is trained by outstanding choral conductors including David Lawrence and Simon Halsey and gives regular performances with Northern Sinfonia. In addition to singers, Quay Voices welcomes applications from young pianists with the experience to act as an accompanist for the choir. A special feature of the 08/09 season will be the opportunity to sing in a full-scale musical production of the best selling novel 'Skellig' (November 08). This will require an intense programme of rehearsals: members not able to commit to this will still be able to join Quay Voices from December 08 onwards.
