Community Music Spark 9th November
Community Music Spark is Sage Gateshead’s community music training programme for adults with learning disabilities. We currently work with four volunteer participants, three of whom have attended previously on work placements from MENCAP National College Dilston, Northern Counties College and Dryden School. Movember dawns as the Sparks expand their songbook.
Graeme: today we welcomed Peter from the Community Music Degree course, and Anna from Hungary who joined us as part of her work placement.
Marc: We took a picture of us before lunch, so we could include Juliette in this weeks blog picture!
Andrew: As usual PRS inclusion joined us this morning. the session went really well
John: I welcomed them back after half term then i led a game called bibbety bop!
Paul: We worked on both their songs.
Graeme: we added some nature sound effects.
Marc: This afternoon we worked on expanding our repertoire.
Paul: We developed some rhythm exercises using hand percussion.
Mat: Me and Paul are both taking part in “Movember”, and Andrew has just told us that he will join us! so we expect to see a very interesting moustache on his face next week! I can’t wait!!
