Payroll Giving is a simple, tax effective way for employed people or people in receipt of a work related pension to give to a charity directly from their pay or pension.
How to make charitable donations
All you have to do is instruct your employer to deduct regular charitable donations from your pay which are forwarded to the chosen charity via an Inland Revenue approved Payroll Giving Agency. This is done before tax, which means that you are given tax relief on the donation at your top rate of tax.
