Whether you are a resident or a visitor to Newcastle Gateshead, The Sage Gateshead offers a variety of concerts, gigs, classes, workshops and events for everyone.

To view The Sage Gateshead's programme of live music events, please select Performance from the menu on the left. To help you find concerts featuring your favourite artists or a particular kind of music, you can then search by the name of an artist or by genre.

The Sage Gateshead offers a wide range of activities, workshops and classes for you to enjoy, throughout the North East of England. To find the ideal way for you to take part, please select Participation Event on menu. Alternatively, if you know the date of the event, concert or workshop you're looking for, use the handy calendar to take you straight to that date.

Ticket Office Terms and Conditions

  • The information on this site is correct at the time of going online. May we suggest that you call the relevant ticket office before leaving for an event in case of any last minute changes to line-up, start-time etc.

  • We make a £1.50p handling fee for concert tickets booked online, over the telephone, or by post. This fee is applied per transaction, no matter how many tickets you book.

  • Please ensure all mobile phones and pagers are turned off while inside the auditoria

  • Photography and recording of any kind is strictly prohibited during performances.

  • The Sage Gateshead reserves the right to alter programmes, introduce special offers at any time, and to refuse admission.

  • Only holders of tickets purchased from The Sage Gateshead's Ticket Office, or our official ticket agencies, are accepted.

  • We regret that no refunds can be given. However, tickets returned for sold out performances will be resold where possible

  • If necessary, we are happy to exchange tickets for another performance where possible. This performance must be within three months of the date of exchange and the exchange must take place at least forty-eight hours prior to the start of a performance. There will be a £1 admin charge for this service.
